Introduction

This plugin allows you to include one or more google maps right inside your content item or article.

This is a very light-weight and easy-to-use plugin for displaying googleMaps right inside your Joomla article.

You can use this to easily add a map to your company address.

Unique features:

GoogleMaps with Directions

This plugin displays the map only. If you want to display the map + driving/walking directions, use the googleDirections plugin:

Thanks to feedback from Florian who found out that the reverse geocode lookup by Google sometimes do not gives the right mapping. Have modified the code so that the googleMaps plugin now maps the exact location when latitude/longitude is given.

This plugin shows a location in Google maps. It is easy to use and configure. googleMaps plugin is required for any website. I strongly recommend it!!!

As a relative newbie I found this to be a really useful plugin, excellent documentation, easy to use, quick and friendly support (on an issue that had nothing to do with googlemaps to be honest). And it's free! I happily paid the $10 to remove the linkback, simply because guys like this deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. Joomla at its best.

Works very well and just like it says in the description its lightweight.

Found one missing feature (open kml link in the same window) but the plugin is so simple to use so I will stick with it anyways.

Just the perfect plugin to include a map in your website.

Easy to use and with a lot of options. I was able to include the map in a lightbox, which was what the website I was working on needed because of its design.

Got a problem and received an answer in less than a day, on saturday!

Installed and had it up and running in less then 60 secons flat.

A complete, effective and reliable google map extension. No crap or exceptional intellectual ability required, just a google maps API key, add to your article and you're set.

That's the way to go.

I'm using this plugin for 3 years. It is easy to install, to configure and to use. Great level of customization.

I had a problem with a joomla 1.7 site and thanks to the help of Mike we quickly solved it! Just write him, his support is excellent!
