Introduction

ASK - Auto Subscription for Kunena - Automatic activation of subscriptions in Kunena 2.x / 3.x / 5.x

With this plugin, subscriptions are assigned automatically or manually to all new and existing users. ASK is performed automatically after successful registration and assigns the specified categories to the new user or manually to existing users.

There are 2 modes available: Automatic and Selection Mode. In the Automatic Mode, the subscriptions to the categories are determined automatically with all dependencies. If the user is allowed to subscribe to a category, then the category is added to the subscription list of the user. In the Selection mode you may select the categories manually without any permission rights checks, so be careful if you use this option!

Functionality

This plugin would be much better as a component where you can create ongoing settings for a list of different members.

Ease of use

It's pretty easy to use except that it's functionality is so limited.

Documentation

There is sufficient documentation on how to use it but zero documentation on how to fix common issues

Functionality

ASK contains some very useful functions. I hope the developer considers expanding it by adding other functions. :)

Ease of use

I did have some issues at the beginning but they were rectified. It may have been something I was doing incorrectly.

Support

The developer took time from his busy schedule to lend a hand and get me over what I thought was a bug. A big THANK YOU.
Note that this free extension has no free support whatsoever.

Documentation

This is one area that could be improved. I had some challenges following the slim documentation. But then again, it is a free extension.

A good extension, but i have problems when i have install uddeIM too. When your extension is active, i do not have any access to the backend of uddeIM.

Thanks for this plugins. It would have been nice if we could have converted all the existing user to subs model as well. Hoping this to be release in next version.
