Configuration Setting :

For the image path and link in editor, if the image/link from outside your domain, make sure you put http://, otherwise, if it is from your domain, put only the sub-folder (after your domain).. example outside: http://www.joomlaites.com/example.php ... example inside:index.php/example.php.
For the Popup Message box : For adding text color ,background color you may have to first change a few parameter settings eg : 'Change Functionality from advanced to extended' ( for this module we are using tiny editor as joomla default editor, So make changes in tiny editor Plugin) J-lites Balloon...
You can manage width and height for the image,title color,background color,padding,fade in /out time,target,link.
Choose balloon position for corners (left bottom,right bottom)
