Introduction

Captcha

A simple, yet effective, Joomla! captcha plugin that uses a question and answer method.

What is the 4th letter of the word 'foxtail'? ... possible answers: t
How many 3's are in the number: 1,347,237? ... possible answers: 2,two
What is the sum of 2 plus three? ... possible answers: 5,five

The plugin will also reject rapid submissions (bot?) of the form.

Captcha labeling and questions are customizable ... see file 'custom.ini.sample' in the language folder.

Functionality
You can put your own questions (with multiple correct answers) in the config file.
Ease of use
Very simple program, easy to use, easy to see that there is nothing excessive.
Support
I didn't need any support, but as the code is on GitHub it's pretty convenient.
Documentation
I used this to: To replace reCAPTCHA (which is much harder to install and to use: often I waste whole minutes to pass those pictures, and the computer sometimes dares to disagrees with me). So this is much better, especially as you could use your own, specific questions.

Works well and easy to use

Functionality
Before using this captcha method we were getting occasional random unwanted posts. Since using it there have been none of those.
Ease of use
Installed id, enabled it, set it as our default captcha method and it just worked.
Documentation
There could be a bit more documentation.
I used this to: Preventing garbage submissions on our contact forms.
